We were commissioned to add lighting to these chest plates worn by Chicago dance group FootworKINGz on America's Got Talent, where they received great reviews for their futuristic look and advanced to the next round. Each chest plate contained about 70 individually mounted white LEDs. A rugged on/off switch was mounted near the hip, where it could be controlled easily. The battery pack was hidden in a pocket on the back, and the entire piece was held in place with velcro closures on elastic straps.
