These examples illustrate some suggestions for mounting lights in gloves. We do not carry any in stock - they would all be made as custom orders.

Lights can be mounted on the back of the hand and fingers, and extend up the wrist onto the forearm. We can also mount lights on the palms, the insides of the fingers, or the fingertips, although some types of light placement will affect what you can do with your hands when wearing the gloves. We can also work with gloves that you send to us, although there will be some limits on the types of lighting that can be installed on gloves that are extremely tight or stretchy.

We've created many designs using black leather dress gloves and athletic gloves with a mixture of spandex, leather, and synthetic leather materials.

We will usually modify the gloves by adding layers of fabric where the lights are mounted, to keep the wires separated from your hands. We will also create a small pocket for the battery, which is typically mounted near the wrist. The cost of these modifications will depend on the amount of sewing required, but an estimate of $100 per glove will apply in most cases (and this includes the cost of the glove).

Then, the cost of the electronics will depend on the type of lighting and the number of LEDs:

standard LEDs mounted in grommets - $15 per light
	These high brightness LEDs use less power than the high-wattage type, but will still produce a dramatic effect. The lights in these designs can be animated with custom twinkling patterns (including a steady glowing effect as one of the options). Available light colors include cool white, warm white, red, orange, gold, green, aqua, blue, and pink.

	These lights give you flashlight-quality brightness in a compact design that literally fits in the palm of your hand. We can install a single ultra high-wattage LED in the center of the palm, or a cluster of 2, 3, or 4 lights. Choose from a low-profile style with a wide viewing angle (shown to the left), OR a focused beam with a 1/2" lens mounted on each light. Available colors include cool white, warm white, red, amber, green, and blue.
