Illuminated Rings Series

These original pieces of illuminated art, created in 2021-2023, combine a metal front layer with various diffusing materials and LED backlighting. Multiple sizes of metal rings have been soldered together in a circular dome shape (most are 20" diameter x 4" deep), and RGB LED pixels are aligned behind the rings. The LEDs are programmed with vibrant flowing patterns, including a variety of sound reactive effects.

Any of them can be enjoyed individually, and pieces within certain subgroups (Enlighted Rings 8-13 or Enlighted Rings 14-20) are programmed with the same families of animation patterns and can be synchronized with each other.
