Amazing Race

In late 2013, we created lighted skydiving suits for use in the The Amazing Race 24 (also known as The Amazing Race: All-Stars), which aired on CBS in early 2014. For the show's finale in Las Vegas, two contestants were dressed in lighted suits that would make them more visible to cameras during their tandem skydive into the finish line.

We used white coveralls as the base garment, and installed panels of RGB LED pixels in areas where they would not interfere with (or be damaged by) the tandem skydiving harness.

The lights were programmed to flash in a few different red and white patterns, as shown in the video below.
