Burgundy Dress with LEDs

We were commissioned to add lighting to this evening dress in 2010, along with a matching suit.

We installed a few dozen red and white LEDs. About half of them are mounted on the bodice, blending with the existing embellishments on the dress. The rest of the lights are placed on the waist and at a few points where the skirt is gathered.

The lights are animated with a slow twinkling effect.
