Coat with Angled LED Stripes

Enlighted was commissioned to light up this black leather coat in 2011. The client provided the base coat, which had eight angled zippers embedded in the front.

We accentuated this design feature by mounting four white LEDs in a row underneath each zipper. We also added six white LEDs to each shoulder.

The lights were animated in a variety of patterns.
