Enlighted was commisioned to design and install the lighting for Hooper, the mascot of the NBA's Detroit Pistons.

The word 'DETROIT' on the front of the jersey is lit up with 5mm red LEDs.  The horseshoe on the a back, and the letter 'P' on the shorts are both illuminated with cool white LEDs.

The lights flash in a variety of patterns, as shown in the animated examples on this page:

• adjacent lights within each letter fade up and down, in an alternating pattern

• chasing patterns within each letter

• all lights flash on and off together
