Earth, Wind and Fire

In 2009, Enlighted was commissioned to create lighted arm accessories for the legendary band Earth, Wind & Fire, for use during their joint tour with Chicago that year.

We created lighted sleeves to be worn over other clothes, and connected in the back so they would stay up. Each arm has 3 rows of closely spaced white LEDs, with a custom driver that allows them to be lit with a steady glow or a strobing effect.

The lights are concealed by a sheer layer of black organza, and there is a gap at the elbow to improve durability and flexibility.
