EL Bar Tie

For this project, the client wanted a relatively simple effect: a horizontal bar of glowing light, mounted near the top of a skinny black necktie.

We chose angelhair EL wire (the thinnest type), and mounted it in three closely space rows, with a fabric boundary covering the edges to create a crisp rectangular shape.

Enlighted created a set of these for all of the members in a band, in 2013.
