EL Shoulder Pad Set

The foundation of this costume is a set of athletic shoulder pads (intended for lacrosse players). We've concealed all logos with fabric as needed, and attached looping EL wire shapes on the front, back, and shoulders, using a mix of pink, lime green, and aqua EL wire.

At the top of the chest, there is a cluster of animated LEDs, mounted behind a diffusing layer. This element is intended to represent the wearer's heart, or an internal energy source.

The outfit also includes a wide belt with a lighted front buckle, and a pair of matching wristbands.

We've included this in the gallery as an example of our past work (this is from 2011), but we no longer offer EL wire as an option for custom installations.
