These lighted hearts were made for two different projects in 2015.
In the first example, we created a set of two heart-shaped fabric panels, with pink and white LEDs animated to light up the center, then the surrounding ring of lights, and then the outer edge. The client (a costume shop) completed the installation, attaching these panels on the front of a bra. Wires ran from the hearts to an LED controller and battery pack that could be hidden somewhere else in the garment.
In the second example, the client required a highly flexible pulsing heart. We built this with red LEDs mounted in a sheer fabric, with thin wire connections that allowed full bending of the piece without damaging the electronics. The client also completed the installation for this project, so we only have photos of the heart itself.
