The knee-length black trenchcoat, created in 2017, is illuminated with about 100 RGB LED pixels. The lights are mounted in black rubber grommets, which provide a secure and durable method for making the LED lens visible on the outside of the coat, while all of the wiring is concealed between the outer layer and the lining.

The LED controller and battery pack are held in the pockets of the coat, with easy access to the control switches.
