Enlighted was commissioned to create this lighted suit jacket for a member of the Krewe of Muses for Mardi Gras 2024. We added RGB LED pixels to the edges of the shawl-type tuxedo lapels, mounted behind a sheer fabric. On the back we created the high-heel shoe graphic and MUSES text as an embroidered region with sheer windows sewn into the fabric. The logo is backlit with a layer of RGB LED pixels aligned behind them. A layer of diffusing material helps to provide a more uniform area of light, disguising the LED locations.

The LED controller and battery pack are held in the front pockets of the jacket, and all wiring is concealed within the lining.

The lights are animated in a variety of custom patterns, including some sound-reactive effects.
