Psychedelic Vest

This custom zip-up vest is illuminated with over 750 individually addressable RGB LEDs arranged in a dense grid on the front panels and neck. The outer layer of sheer gray fabric is stitched in a geometric pattern and covers a thin layer of diffusing material. The lights are animated in a variety of patterns that can be selected by pressing a mode switch near the right hip. Rechargeable batteries are held in the front pockets.

The video below demonstrates the animation patterns, which include several styles of sound-reactivity. A few patterns near the end (from ~2:50 - 3:30) do not react to sound.
