Enlighted was commissioned to illuminate this full body jumpsuit for use while skydiving (and for partying afterwards).

We installed over 130 RGB LED pixels on the arms, legs, and front of the torso, taking care to avoid the areas that would be covered by a parachute harness while jumping. Due to the high level of durability required, we used individually mounted pixels joined together by thin flexble wires.

controls

The patterns are controlled manually, with switches built into a panel on the LED driver held on the chest. Some of patterns respond to ambient sound, using a microphone within the driver.
