We created this lighted top hat for Keith, the lead singer of the Young Dubliners, an Irish rock band currently based in California. Keith wore the hat for their event in San Diego on Saint Patrick's Day Weekend in 2008, and continued to use the hat for later shows on the tour.

The hat is an oversized top hat, made of UV-reactive fabric. We added lime green EL wire outlines around the edges of the brim and the hat band, and installed a scattered arrangement of green LED around the top. There is also a ring of UV LEDs mounted on the brim, aimed towards the hat.

We've included this in our gallery as an example of our past work, but we no longer offer EL wire as an option for new installations.
