Yellow Fire Suit

This outfit was created for Naif, a live trance artist, in 2001. He provided a bright yellow jacket and matching pair of pants that looked a little like a firefighter's uniform. We added flames, in the form of several hundred red, orange, and yellow LEDs.  

The lights are aimed sideways, so that the reflections on the fabric contribute to the flame-like effect.
