Yellow Tuxedo

A client requested that we make this bright yellow tuxedo even brighter. Challenge accepted!

We added strings of closely-spaced gold LEDs around the outer edge of the collar and along the top edges of the pocket flaps on the jacket. We also illuminated the neckline of the matching vest underneath. The tie is also lit up, with four individually mounted gold LEDs. All of the lights are illuminated with a steady glowing effect.

This project demonstrates some interesting effects that can happen when you mount lights near white, reflective, or brightly colored fabrics. The lights on the vest are reflecting off the inside of the jacket, giving the vest an overall glow in addition to the points of light that are seen directly. The lights on the pockets also create glowing regions on the sides of the sleeves.
