Enlighted was commissioned to add LED flame lighting to this leather trench coat and chaps, as part of a Caretaker Ghost Rider cosplay project for Shawn T. Andrew. 

Previously, we did similar work on his Ghost Rider outfit with red LED flames, as well as a Blue Ghost Rider version.

We used about 300 RGB LED pixels to light up the two garments. All of the illuminated areas are created as windows cut in the leather, and filled in with a sheer fabric with embroidered edges. The LEDs are mounted on the inside, behind a diffusing layer. The animation patterns are controlled by a custom Enlighted LED driver, with a user accessible mode switch.
