Dave's Birthday Hat 2022

This Enlighted hat is part of an illuminated outfit we created for a long-time client's birthday celebration, consisting of an LED suit and several accessories. 

The front of the hat is decorated with a disk of RGB LED pixels arranged in concentric rings. The lights on the disc are programmed to display a few smiley face effects, as well as a variety of abstract mirrored patterns. Some of the effects are sound reactive. The sides and back of the hat are decorated with additional 

Both the disk and the main part of the hat are covered with a sheer black mesh, which helps to conceal the electronics while allowing light to pass through.
