LinkedIn Shorts

The lighted suit jacket and pants that we created for LinkedIn were so well-received that we were commissioned to make a pair of lighted boxer shorts as a follow-up project.

They supplied shorts made of a custom fabric with their logo repeated in a grid.  We installed RGB LED pixels as backlighting behind each of the logos on the front, with some diffusing material to make the illuminated area have a more uniform brightness.

The LED driver and control switches are held in a pocket on one side, and the battery is held in the opposite pocket. The lights are animated in a variety of flashing patterns, including combinations of blue and white flashing, as well as a moving rainbow effect.
