This is a more elaborate version of another American flag shirt we created. In addition to lighting up the stars, this shirt also includes dense rows of LED behind all of the white stripes.

RGB LED pixels are used throughout this design, and the LED driver is programmed with a variety of effects that use white, red, and blue light, as well as a moving rainbow pattern.

controls

This shirt contains several hundred RGB LED pixels, driven by a control box mounted in the right chest pocket. The control switches are mounted on the side of the box, including one master on/off switch, a mode switch, and a switch to cycle through a few brightness settings. This driver also has a built-in microphone, and some of the patterns are sound-reactive.
