Comic-Con 2001 Masquerade

In the very early days of starting her lighted clothing business, Janet Hansen entered the Comic-Con International Masquerade 2001 Competition wearing her own illuminated nervous system costume, and came home with two prizes:

• Best in Show!

• Barry Brown and Dawn Divine-Brown Ibexa Press Technology Prize, for the best use of high technology in a costume

Later, the Enlighted illuminated nervous system was also featured in an episode of Ripley's Believe it or Not.
